Senior Health Inpatient Care
Specialized geriatric care during your hospital stay
Senior Health Inpatient Care at Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals
A hospital stay can be stressful for anyone. It can be even more difficult for seniors with health issues. Our dedicated staff is sensitive to the unique needs of the older members of our community. Our goal is to make sure you get the treatment you need and remain as comfortable as possible during your hospital stay.
We are an age-friendly hospital and follow the 4M model of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, which requires that we:
- Follow an essential set of evidence-based practices
- Cause no harm
- Align with "What Matters" to the older adult and their family caregivers
What Does It Mean to Be Age-Friendly?
As an age-friendly hospital, we provide a set of four evidence-based elements of high-quality care, known as the “4Ms,” to all older adults: What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility.

We provide specialized care in a safe and comfortable environment. We communicate openly with you and your family to ensure you understand your care plan.
