Neurological Rehabilitation
Expert therapy for a variety of neurological conditions
Neurological Rehabilitation at Beverly Hospital
Learning how to live with a condition affecting your brain — such as a stroke, concussion, multiple sclerosis or Parkinson’s disease — can be a challenge. At Beverly Hospital, our team of physical therapists specially trained in neurological rehabilitation is here to help. Neurological rehabilitation, also called neuro-rehab, helps people who have had a brain injury or other neurological event regain their abilities and independence.
Our Expert Team
We offer a truly multidisciplinary approach to care. This means that a team of providers will be involved in your rehabilitation. Those may include:
- Audiologists
- Occupational therapists
- Orthopedic specialists
Your neuro-rehab care team will personalize your care plan to fit your specific needs and goals.

Learn More About Neurological Rehab
If you or a loved one has a neurological condition, participating in an expert rehab program can help improve both function and quality of life.
Our neuro-rehab specialists challenge the idea that the loss of abilities or function after a neurological injury or condition is permanent. We offer the latest rehabilitation techniques to help you get back to doing the things you love. Our services include:
- Helping people with balance problems regain their equilibrium.
- Improving cognitive (thinking) abilities.
- Occupational therapy.
- Physical therapy.
- Special exercises for babies with torticollis.
- Speech therapy.
- Treatment for progressive neurological conditions.
We harness the power of our state-of-the-art technology when appropriate. For example, we can use infrared video camera monitoring to diagnose and treat balance disorders.
We also offer a Maintenance Plus Program for ongoing care. In this program, you’ll work regularly with rehabilitation aides. Your care team will periodically assess your progress and adjust your therapy as needed. We’ve specially designed this program for those with progressive neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis (MS) or Parkinson’s disease.
