As of December 1, 2022, The North Shore Birth Center is permanently closed. If you are looking for midwifery services the following are practices in the area and are currently accepting new patients:

We have set up a dedicated patient relations number for patients of NSBC to obtain assistance with the transition of care and to request a copy of their medical records. This number is 978-816-3072.

Beth Israel Lahey Health is awarding $1.5 million to community organizations to create, expand, or reopen outpatient birth centers licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to meet the needs for maternity care in underserved communities.
