Wound Care at Beverly Hospital

Our team of board-certified physicians and surgeons are highly trained in comprehensive wound care and provide services at both Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert Hospital.

You will be seen by a wound care physician and certified wound care nurse who will work in close coordination to provide a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.

We use the most advanced approaches to wound healing, including advanced wound dressing, bioengineered skin replacement and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Our Approach

Many Americans suffer from chronic, non-healing wounds. Some wounds are associated with complications from diabetes, vascular disorders, pressure sores or traumatic wounds. The types of wounds treated include pressure, diabetic, neuropathic and ischemic ulcers, venous insufficiency, traumatic and surgical wounds, vasculitis and late effects of radiation.

The Center utilizes the most up-to-date approaches to wound healing such as advanced wound dressing, bioengineered skin replacement and, in some situations, hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Diagnosing Your Wound

Whether you come to Beverly Hospital or Addison Gilbert Hospital for wound care, we always take the time to understand your condition.

You will receive a diagnostic exam where we will talk with you about your health history. We will identify the type of wound you have and discuss any underlying problems that could be causing the wound. 

Some wounds are associated with complications from diabetes, pressure sores, traumatic injury or vascular disorders. We treat diabetic, ischemic, neuropathic and pressure ulcers.

The experts at our Wound and Hyperbaric Medicine Center provide comprehensive care. Located in the Cummings Center, we partner with your doctor to heal your wound.

Our wound care team includes:
