Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals Welcome New Board Members
New Members Will Help Guide Hospitals’ Missions
Beverly & Gloucester, MA – Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals announced today that seven new members have joined the hospitals’ Board of Trustees: Pierre D. Abou-Ezzi, MD; Andrea Conley; Suzanne F. Graves, MD; Meredith Hunter, RN, BSN; Hadley A. Martins; David R. Masse; and Deborah P. Shih, MD.
Beverly and Addison Gilbert’s board is made up of dedicated professionals with a wealth of personal and professional experience and a shared commitment to the hospital’s mission to create healthier communities — one person at a time — through seamless care and ground-breaking science, driven by excellence, innovation and equity.

About Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals’ New Trustees
Pierre D. Abou-Ezzi, MD
Dr. Abou-Ezzi is an internal medicine specialist who has practiced in the Beverly area for the past 25 years. He currently serves as president of the Lahey Clinical Performance Network (LCPN), part of Beth Israel Lahey Health Performance Network and as president of the Northeast Physician Hospital Organization (NEPHO), overseeing population health for the physician organization of Beverly Hospital and the Northeast Hospital Corporation.
Dr. Abou-Ezzi earned his medical degree from St. Joseph’s University and completed his residency in internal medicine in Baltimore and Massachusetts. He resides in North Andover with his wife.
Andrea Conley
Ms. Conley is the Head of Patient Services at Lantheus, a radiopharmaceutical company that develops and distributes precision diagnostic and therapeutic products located in Bedford, Massachusetts. Andrea has over 20 years of healthcare experience focused on access, education, and support related to specialty pharmaceuticals across therapeutic areas including rare genetic diseases, immunology, oncology and Alzheimer’s disease.
Ms. Conley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management. She resides in Gloucester with her husband.
Suzanne F. Graves, MD
Dr. Graves is a senior physician with Garden City Pediatrics in Beverly. Dr. Graves is an active member of the Medical Staff at Beverly Hospital and has been a longstanding member of several boards at Northeast Hospital Corporation and affiliated institutions. Dr. Graves is the President of the Evelyn Lilly Lutz Foundation.
She received an AB degree in Chemistry at Dartmouth College, her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed her residency and her chief residency in Pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Suzanne lives with her husband in Sandown, New Hampshire.
Meredith Hunter, RN, BSN
Ms. Hunter is a retired charge nurse from Boston Medical Center, where she led a team of 80 nurses on a trauma surgical step-down unit at one of New England’s busiest level one trauma centers. During her career, she participated in several hospital committees and played a key role when BMC achieved Magnet status. Ms. Hunter serves on Beverly Hospital’s patient experience and quality committee and enjoys substitute school nursing for three local private grade schools.
Meredith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Meredith resides in Beverly Farms with her husband and is a proud mom and stepmom to three daughters.
Hadley A. Martins
Ms. Martins has extensive experience in biopharmaceutical operations and strategy as a leader with over a decade of experience driving innovation and organizational excellence across global research organizations. She previously served as Director of Science & Technology External Ecosystems at Danaher Corporation and Associate Director of the AstraZeneca Postdoctoral Program. Ms. Martins serves as Chair of the Beverly Hospital Philanthropy Committee.
Ms. Martins holds a Master of Business Administration from Babson College and a Bachelor of Science from Endicott College and resides in Topsfield with her family.
David R. Masse
Mr. Masse is the Founder and CEO of AAM15 Management, which focuses on investments in hospitality, apartments, and student housing. Mr. Masse serves on Lahey Hospital & Medical Center President’s Council and the Board of the Cabot Theater in Beverly. His philanthropic and community connections include North Shore Community College, Salem State University, Beverly Hospital, One Mission, and the YMCA of Danvers.
Mr. Masse holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Salem State University and an associate’s degree from North Shore Community College. He resides on the North Shore of Massachusetts with his wife and their three children.
Deborah P. Shih, MD
Dr. Shih is an Internal Medicine Physician and Site Medical Director for Beverly Medical Associates, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health Primary Care. She has served as a primary care physician and Associate Residency Program Director at Kaiser Permanente and later practiced at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center and Atrius Health.
Dr. Shih holds a Bachelor of Science from Birmingham-Southern College and a medical degree from Duke University with residency training and a Chief Resident role at University of California in San Francisco. She resides in North Andover with her husband.
