Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals Appoint New Member to Board of Trustees
BEVERLY, MA (February 21, 2018) – Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals announced today the addition of Bruce F. Nardella to its Board of Trustees. As a trustee, Nardella will provide governance and leadership to Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals and their senior leadership teams.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Bruce Nardella to our Board of Trustees,” said Nancy Palmer, chair of the Board. “Bruce has devoted his life to helping those in need, and it is a privilege to welcome him to our board. As a North Shore resident, he has a deep understanding of the needs our community faces and has the experience necessary to help the organization continue to thrive.”
A resident of Beverly, Bruce Nardella has spent his career working for organizations focused on helping youth at risk and people with a wide range of disabilities live successfully in the community. He has worked for The Mentor Network since 1996 and has been the chief executive officer of the organization for the last four years. Prior to that, Nardella worked at the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services for 11 years, spending his last two years as the deputy commissioner of the department. Nardella received his Masters of Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School where he was the recipient of the Bradford Fellowship, which is awarded for excellence in state government management. He received his undergraduate degree from Colgate University and a Masters of Education from Boston University where he majored in social education, with a specialization in public service and the judicial system.
