Special Care Nursery Welcomes Back Over Sixty Families
Annual event reunites physicians and staff with families whose
infants have received critical care at SCN. More than 125 adults
and children attended Beverly Hospital's Special Care Nursery (SCN)
annual reunion celebration at Beverly Hospital in the Ayer's
Healing Garden located on the hospital's campus.
Hosted by SCN Staff and Medical Director Tai Tran, M.D.,
families of children who were in the Hospital's SCN during the last
year were invited to celebrate their child's good health and
revisit with old friends, including Hospital staff and other
parents. This year's reunion was highlighted by a free teddy
bear clinic and each family was provided with a Beverly Hospital
teddy bear.
"It is a great privilege for our entire team to care for the
families that rely on the SCN," said Dr. Tai Tran, medical director
of the Special Care Nursery at Beverly Hospital. "It was
wonderful to reconnect with all of the families who have been in
the SCN over the past year. It brings me great joy to see how
well the babies and their parents are doing".
