Cape Ann Community Service Agency Awarded Quince
Foundation Grant
Beverly, MA-The Cape Ann Community Service Agency (CSA) has been
awarded a $5,000 grant from the Josh Quince Foundation. The grant
will support the non-profit's work with families on Cape Ann and
across 14 North Shore towns.
Headquartered in Beverly, the Cape Ann CSA provides services to
local families who have children who are struggling with a mental
health disorder.
The CSA will use the Josh Quince Foundation funds to meet each
family's individual and incidental needs that are not typically
covered by public funding or insurance. Examples of these needs
include help with emergency car repairs or children's bedding and
kitchen equipment for families in transition from a shelter to an
apartment.
For many families, the CSA and its supportive services save the
parents from placing their child with mental health issues in an
away-from-home facility.
"The Josh Quince Foundation funds will allow us to work with
families in creative ways to that they can feel supported and
better able to handle the challenges that are occurring in their
lives right now," says Michelle Fyrer, Director of the Cape Ann
CSA. "We are really grateful for the Foundation's support."
The Cape Ann Community Service Agency is part of Health &
Education Services, a non-profit behavioral health network serving
over 40 communities in the greater North Shore, Lowell and
Merrimack Valley areas. For more information on HES please visit www.hes-inc.org or to make a
