North Shore Nurse Recognized by North Shore Arc
Danvers Resident Receives the Distinguished Service Award
(Middleton, Mass.) – June 2, 2009 -- Family Medicine Associates (FMA), a multi-site primary care group affiliated with Beverly Hospital, recently announced that Mary Flynn, RN, a triage nurse in FMA’s Middleton office, was awarded the North Shore Arc Distinguished Service Award.
The North Shore Arc is a disability services organization dedicated to providing lifelong, individualized support to people with or at risk of developing disabilities. The Arc’s goal is to ensure that people with disabilities have the opportunities to choose and realize their goals.
“Mary Flynn deserves this honor,” said Elizabeth Hill, practice administrator. “She is truly a caring and compassionate nurse.”
Each year, the North Shore Arc gives the Distinguished Service Award to people or organizations that make a difference in the lives of persons with developmental disabilities. Flynn will receive her award at the North Shore Arc’s 55th Annual Meeting Breakfast and Awards Ceremony on Sunday, June 7 at the Danversport Yacht Club.
FMA have been in practice since 1996 and have offices in Middleton, Hamilton and Manchester.
