Beverly Hospital Receives Zoning Approval
Beverly Hospital Receives Approval from Danvers Zoning Board of Appeals Signage unanimously approved as opening of state-of-the-art medical facility approaches
(Beverly, MA)--Beverly Hospital announced that they received full approval of the signage for the new Beverly Hospital at Danvers Medical and Day Surgery Center, currently scheduled to open its doors in mid-November.
Hospital officials went before the Danvers Zoning Board of Appeals on September 10, 2007, to present the planned signage for the new facility, to ensure that they met the town’s zoning requirements and to receive the appropriate variances as outlined by the town. Beverly Hospital’s proposal was unanimously approved by the board members, giving the hospital permission to proceed as scheduled with the center’s construction, which is nearing completion.
"We have a very strong commitment to the health and well-being of the communities we serve," said Stephen Laverty, president of Beverly Hospital. "This approval brings us one step closer to the opening of this new facility, which will extend our ability to deliver comprehensive, high-quality care to residents of the North Shore area."
As a community hospital, Beverly Hospital recognizes the importance of community involvement and has worked closely with the Danvers zoning board throughout this decision-making process. Their helpful feedback regarding the signage for the new facility ensured that the hospital could present a final plan adhering to the standards set by the town of Danvers.
"We have deep roots in the Danvers community and a long-term commitment to this area. Maintaining that positive relationship and keeping in accord with the wishes of the community is something that we take very seriously," added Mr. Laverty.
