Beverly Receives Four High Performing Ratings in Annual Report

Beverly, MA — Beverly Hospital has been recognized for its high-quality care by U.S. News & World Report’s 2026-2027 Best Hospitals edition.

"This recognition from U.S. News & World Report reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional, compassionate care to every patient we serve,” said Tom Sands, FACHE, market president North Shore and president of Beverly, Addison Gilbert, BayRidge and Anna Jaques Hospitals. “We are deeply grateful to our clinicians and staff whose dedication and expertise make this achievement possible."

Beverly Hospital received four high performing ratings from U.S. News, including in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart failure, hip replacement, and knee replacement.

This is the highest distinction a hospital can earn as part of U.S. News’ Best Hospitals Procedures & Conditions ratings.

U.S. News evaluated nearly 4,500 hospitals across 14 adult specialties and 23 procedures and conditions; less than half earned recognition in any of those 37 areas of care.

To determine the Best Hospitals, U.S. News analyzed each hospital’s performance based on objective measures such as risk-adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications and patient experience. The Best Hospitals Specialty rankings methodology and Procedures & Conditions ratings methodology measure patient outcomes using data from over 800 million records of patient care.
